Get Started Using BI with SQL

This method is for a more advanced user that works at the district level.

Using this method you will:

• Make a direct connection to the database and write SQL to pull the data needed

• Basics of the Illuminate database schema

• Bring the query into Jaspersoft Studio as a datasource

• Create a Basic Report

• Publish your report to Illuminate

• Add input controls to make your reports dynamic

(Note: Input controls must be added to ensure users of the reports see only the intended data. The control panel visibility does not automatically apply to district created reports.)
