Blank Templates - Report Starters
We highly recommend using these blank templates/report starters to start your BI Tool reports. They will make it easier for you to create reports with the BI Tool.
What do these templates provide?
A Title Band that mirrors Illuminate's pre-built reports.
A Selected Filters section that will display any filters that a user selects on the actual report. (This is critical to ensure the data in your reports is not misinterpreted and misused.)
A page footer that will display the name of the user who generates the report, and the date & time the report is generated. (Also critical to ensure the data in your report is not misinterpreted or misused.)
A page footer that displays "Page x of y". (Without this, users tend to not look past the first page of your report.)
Please be sure to install the Illuminate Font Set so the templates will display correctly.
Please click the links below and push the "Download" button.
You can either start your reports using these templates, OR you can simply copy and paste the parameters (you'll find the parameters in the outline of the report) and the text fields from our template into your own report. The parameters represent the filters users can select before generating the report.
Of course, when you preview the report in JSS, those parameters will always be blank or "null", but when you run the report in Illuminate, it will display the filters the user has selected.
