Step 1 - Create Your CrossTab

Note: CrossTabs can only be placed in the Footer of your Groups (or in the Summary Band)

  • Navigate to the Palette Tab

  • Drag & Drop CrossTab Element onto your summary band, or one of your Group Footers.

When you drop the CrossTab onto your report, a “CrossTab Wizard” will appear.

  • Click Next to move past the first screen of the CrossTab wizard.

  • Select the field/variable to use as your Columns

    • The CrossTab will generate one column for every unique value in the selected field/variable.

    • For example, if you select the “Grade Level” field, you will get one column for each grade level. Or, if you select the “Site Name” field, you will get one column for each Site in the data.

  • Click the > button to move the field/variable into the next column.

  • Click Next
