CrossTab Tutorial
Next, you need to size and position your CrossTab.
The height of your CrossTab will automatically expand to fit your data, so the height of the CrossTab on your report does not really matter.
The width of your CrossTab, however, matters a great deal. The width will not expand automatically. Instead, the CrossTab will wrap as many times as necessary to fit your data, breaking up your table, and making the data difficult to read.
Make your CrossTab wide enough to show all your columns.
Start by making the cross tab the full width of the report.
CrossTabs should, in almost all cases, be the last element in any report band.
If you have other elements below your CrossTab, the table will expand to fit your data and overlap with your other elements.
Once you have the CrossTab properly sized and positioned, preview your report to see the results of your CrossTab.
